Focusing on Business
The dmexco is positioned as a business event for advertisers, digital professionals, marketers and agency representatives from Germany and abroad – with a clear focus on communication, information and the initiation of business transactions. As a result of the exclusive concentration on trade visitors the dmexco enables an intensive exchange between marketing decision-makers, agencies and exhibitors and at the same ensures high quality contacts. Although originally positioned as a national platform, the dmexco is distinguished by its significant share of international visitors and exhibitors.
15,800 national and international trade visitors attended the successful second edition of the dmexco. 15 percent of them travelled to Cologne from all over the globe to visit the leading international event for the entire digital value chain.
The dmexco visitors are either people from service providing, industry or trade companies who are also advertisers and who implement or want to implement digital solutions in their corporate communication or they are decision-makers of the digital value chain from across the entire agency scene (media planning, creative, full-service agencies, etc.). Furthermore, experts and multipliers, i.e. freelance service providers and consultants, visited the dmexco 2010.
In addition over 300 journalists from the trade, daily, weekly and business press attended the leading digital industry event.
